Samsung will be the first TV manufacturer to bring digital music service Spotify to the big screen with the launch of a new app for the Samsung Smart TV range today.
Spotify, which as many of you will know, offers instant, on-demand access to a library of more than 18 million songs, will be available for TV as a result of a partnership between the two entertainment brands.
Getting Spotify on your Samsung Smart TV sounds easy: download the Spotify application to your internet-connected Samsung Smart TV, your Blu-ray player or home theatre system, and log on. Spotify Premium subscribers will be able to see all of their playlists that will automatically sync across all devices and the user interface has been designed especially for television screens.

The new App will be available initially on the Samsung Series 7 and 8 Smart TVs today and will be rolled out for the rest of the range at the end of the month.
